We’re delighted to welcome three remarkable individuals to the Moving Traditions Board! Lilly Claar, Dr. Sara Levine, and Eric Schlezinger each bring invaluable expertise, diverse perspectives, a shared passion for Jewish life, and a commitment to helping Jewish youth thrive.
Meet Our New Board Members:
Lilly Claar

Lilly, Moving Tradition’s youngest board member, is an entertainment professional with a strong commitment to Jewish philanthropy. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Lilly is currently a theatrical press agent at Polk & Co., where she has represented fifteen Broadway productions. Previously, Lilly worked for NBCUniversal as part of the Page program and Focus Features as a publicist. Beyond her career, she is deeply engaged in the Jewish community and is an alum of the Slingshot Fellowship as well as UJA NY’s Leadership Lab and Professional Women’s Mentor Program.
Sara Levine, MD, MPH

Dr. Sara Levine is a pediatrician specializing in adolescent medicine. She has dedicated her career to serving pre-teens, teens, and young adults. With degrees from Yale University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and Columbia University, Sara’s career experience includes 15 years in private practice and, most recently, serving as the medical director of a telehealth startup for young adults. Her involvement with Moving Traditions began when her daughter participated in the Meyer-Gottesman Kol Koleinu Teen Feminist Fellowship. Sara and her family are active members of Westchester Reform Temple, and she serves on the Hillel Advisory Board at the University of Chicago, where her children currently attend college.
Eric Schlezinger

Eric Schlezinger is a human resources and legal executive guiding technology and biopharma companies and their Boards, executive management, and business leaders. He has held leadership roles at Nurix Therapeutics, Adamas Pharmaceuticals, and more. Eric’s involvement with Moving Traditions has been deeply personal as it was inspired by his twin children’s participation in Rosh Hodesh and Kol Koleinu, as well as one of his children leading a Tzelem group. He also previously served on the Board of Trustees of Peninsula Temple Sholom, a partner of Moving Traditions. Eric has a JD from Washington University in St. Louis and an AB in Asian Studies from Dartmouth College. Eric lives in Burlingame, California with his wife Lauren.
Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Lilly, Sara, and Eric – or consider honoring them with a tribute gift – as they help lead Moving Traditions into its next exciting chapter! Together we will continue to innovate and expand our work to help even more teens to thrive.
