Did you know that Moving Traditions is on TikTok?
Have you participated in a Moving Traditions program? Whether it was directly with us in a program like Kol Koleinu or Kumi; or if it was with your local synagogue or organization running B-Mitzvah Family Education, Kulam, or Teen Groups (Rosh Hodesh, Shevet, Tzelem) — we need Jewish teens, alum, and group leaders like you to help us create TikTok content!
Content Ideas
Tell your Moving Traditions story, whatever that means to you. Tell it in a way that you think other teens would want to watch it.
Creativity is encouraged. Need a prompt? Here are some ideas:
- Tell a story about a particularly thought-provoking meeting or session.
- Is there an idea, conversation, or activity that still sticks with you today?
- Why is Jewish community so important, even to teens?
- What does it mean to be a Jewish youth in today’s complicated world?
- Is a Jewish holiday coming up that you want to talk about?
- What does it mean to be a Jewish feminist or Jewish activist today?
- If you participated in Kol Koleinu or Kumi, why should other teens apply too?
Guidelines
We encourage you to start with a bold opening. Our data shows that most people watch the first 0:10 sec then drop off.
Please refrain from anything overtly political or potentially inflammatory. Think along the lines of being inclusive, not exclusive.
Submit your videos below. If we end up posting it, Moving Traditions will send you a $50 gift card to thank you for your time.
