Calling all Jewish teens who want to make a difference and raise their voices! Moving Traditions invites Jewish teens to apply for our Meyer-Gottesman Immersive Teen Experiences:

  • jGirls+ Editorial and Photography Fellowship  is a community of young Jewish feminists (rising 10th-12th graders) who produce an online literary magazine by and for their peers. jGirls+ editors and photographers meet online throughout the year and at two in-person retreats. Together they build an online platform for Jewish girls, young women, and nonbinary teens ages 13-19 to make their voices heard and to engage in discussion across differences of background, opinion, and perspective. Application Deadline: April 12, 2026
  • The Kol Koleinu Feminist Fellowship is a unique year-long fellowship for young Jewish feminists (rising 9th-12th graders) to build intergenerational and peer-to-peer relationships, to learn how to effectively speak their minds and apply the building blocks of activism to create change in their community. Participants meet online throughout the year and at two in-person retreats. This opportunity invites young Jewish women, and trans and non-binary teens to learn how to apply a Jewish feminist lens to the world, ask powerful questions, and amplify their voices to express a call to action. Application Deadline: May 1, 2026
  • Kumi Justice Retreats are open to boys, girls and nonbinary teens (rising 10th-12th graders) who care about racial justice and want to grow alongside other justice-minded teens from across the country. Through two in-person retreats and monthly community of practice zoom calls, teens hear from expert speakers, have deep conversations about their identities and experiences, engage in skill-building, and ultimately leave with the ability and knowledge to interrupt racism, antisemitism, and other forms of oppression. Application Deadline: May 1, 2026
