Dobbs v. Jackson: One Year Later

On June 11, 2023, a group of highly motivated teen activists from Moving Traditions’ Meyer-Gottesman Kol Koleinu Teen Feminist Fellowship held a virtual seminar attended by 26 Jewish youth from across the country.

The interactive discussion by teens, for teens, marked the one-year anniversary of the Dobbs decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and its impact on reproductive rights.

The event offered teens the opportunity to hear from experts representing a variety of perspectives on reproductive rights, including clergy, legal and medical experts such as:

  • Rabbi Barry Silver, Esq.
  • Emily Birenbaum, OB/GYN
  • Ariela Dubler, Head of School at Abraham Joshua Heschel School
  • Cantor Amanda Kleinman
