jGirls+ Magazine
jGirls+ Magazine is an innovative, online community and literary magazine written by and for self-identifying Jewish girls, young women, and nonbinary teens ages 13-19 across all backgrounds. This platform enables teens to share their voices with the world and each other, and the space to hone communication skills, explore identities, talk across differences, and engage with a wide circle of peers on their own terms.
@13: A Moving Traditions Podcast
For parents who want to think differently about b-mitzvah, we present a six-episode podcast series that is pitch-perfect for parents and preteens going through the sometimes confusing, likely emotional, and certainly triumphant process of planning and becoming a B-Mitzvah. We hear from rabbis, authors, comedians, psychologists, parents, and teens about the ancient roots and modern realities of this Jewish rite of passage.
Community Learning Events:
FOR EDUCATORS

Moving Traditions offers free professional development opportunities for educators looking to discover the latest trends affecting our Jewish preteens and teens, best practices for youth engagement, and more. Partner educators also have the opportunity to meet throughout the year for additional learning and support from the Moving Traditions team.
Customizable Practitioner Workshops
(formerly CultureShift)
We train staff members of summer camps, youth groups, and youth trip providers to pay attention to the underlying factors driving teen behavior and to engage in informal educational experiences that foster the wellbeing of Jewish youth. Additionally, we provide staff with training and scripted educational activities that help them to build communication and boundary setting skills, navigate the most challenging aspects of adolescent socialization, sexuality, and power dynamics, and to be better role models for their campers.
