Moving Traditions is the operator and host of the www.movingtraditions.org website (together with its sub-domains and associated services, including but not limited to, emails from movingtraditions.org and its sub-domains, the “Site”). This document sets forth the privacy policy (as amended from time to time, the “Privacy Policy”) governing your use of the Site. Our terms of use, which are found at https://movingtraditions.org/terms-of-use/, (the “Terms of Use”) are incorporated by reference into the Privacy Policy. Your use of the Site indicates your acceptance of the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. 

The Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy set forth the legally binding terms for your use of the Site. Your use of the site indicates your acceptance of the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. You have the right to request the correction of any information which relates to you and is inaccurate. If you would like us to delete any Personal Information that you have disclosed to us, please let us know and we will take reasonable steps to delete it unless we are required by law to keep it. 

5. Opt-Out of Receiving E-mail Communications

You may opt-out of receiving email communications from us by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email or emailing us at info@jgirlsmagazine.org and requesting to opt-out of future unsolicited email communications.

We employ certain security procedures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Regardless of the precautions taken by us we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you transmit such information at your own risk. 

7. Our Policy toward Children under 13

Because we care about the safety and privacy of children online, we comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). COPPA and accompanying Federal Trade Commission regulations establish United States federal law that protects the privacy of children using the Internet. We do not knowingly contact or collect Personal Information from children under 13. The site is not intended to solicit information of any kind from children under 13. 

It is possible that by fraud or deception we may receive information pertaining to children under 13. If we are notified of this, as soon as we verify the information, we will immediately obtain parental consent or otherwise delete the information from our servers. If you are concerned about your child’s use of the Site, you may use web filtering technology to supervise or limit access to the Site. 

8. Accessing the Site from Other Countries

The Site is hosted in the United States of America and is subject to U.S. state and federal law. If you are accessing our Site from other jurisdictions, please be advised that you are transferring your personal information to us in the United States, and by using the Site, you consent to that transfer and use of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You also agree to abide by the applicable laws of applicable states and U.S. federal law concerning your use of the Site and your agreements with us. If your use of the Site would be unlawful in your jurisdiction, please do not use the Site.

The Site may contain links to other websites, and we cannot and are not responsible for maintaining your privacy once you leave the Site. Please review other websites’ privacy policies before revealing any sensitive or Personal Information. In addition, we use Disqus, Inc. to allow you to comment on content contained on the Site and PayPal, Inc. to seek donations for the Site and other causes. If you choose to use these services, you should review the privacy policies of such third party services. We will have no liability or responsibility whatsoever for any information collected through any website or service provided by a third party accessed from or through the Site.  Access to third-party websites or services is done at your own risk.
