Moving Traditions and Keshet are excited to partner and bring you Tzelem for LGBTQ+, Nonbinary, and Gender Expansive teens Jewish teens in Los Angeles.
Tzelem offers a safe, supportive space to make new friends and explore issues like:
- Life transitions
- Healthy Relationships
- Body Positivity
- Self-Compassion
- Mental Health
- Jewish Identity
- And much more!
Meetings from will take place at JQ International’s headquarters (801 Larrabee St. West Hollywood, CA 90069) from 4:00-6:00p.m. PST on the following dates:
October 15, November 5, December 3, January 21, February 11, March 10, April 21, May 19
Group Leader: Hannah Bender
Hannah Bender (they/them) is a queer LA based rabbinical student at the Hebrew Union College. They are from the Chicago suburbs and have a B.A. in Religious studies from the University of Minnesota. Hannah has worked with young folks at camps, schools, and synagogues for the last 10 years in a variety of capacities and is so thrilled to learn and grow with a group of young people in their LA Jewish queer world! They are a cheese enthusiast, passionate collager, and lover of nature.

A $200 registration fee per participant, plus contributions from both JQ International and Moving Traditions, covers the full cost of running Tzelem in Los Angeles. We offer a sliding scale to ensure that all teens who want to join are able.
