An Opportunity for Jewish Youth
Want to raise your voice and influence teen programs? In the last two years, have you participated in a Moving Traditions program, including the B-Mitzvah Family Education Program; Teen Groups including Rosh Hodesh, Shevet, or Tzelem; Kulam for Hebrew High Schools; or our leadership programs, Kol Koleinu and Kumi?
If so, we invite you to hone your leadership skills (and enhance your college resume!) by applying for Moving Traditions’ Teen Advisory Board.
Moving Traditions’ Teen Advisory Board is for a group of driven teens who want to make a difference at a national nonprofit organization and develop leadership skills. It is managed by teens, for teens in service of Moving Traditions’ mission.

Teen Advisory Board Responsibilities:
- Virtual monthly meetings that last about an hour. The meetings will take place on Sundays unless not feasible for the whole group.
- Additional Teen Advisory Board training meetings. This includes non-profit governance training and teen ambassador training.
- Work and projects to be completed outside of the monthly meetings which may include curricula review and program design. Each teen board member should expect to commit three (3) hours a month to MT-TAB including meetings and outside work.
Applications are due on January 26!
Applications are now closed.
Your application will be read and reviewed by current Teen Advisory Board members. Please expect an email regarding your acceptance status by mid-February.
The Teen Advisory Board is a time commitment, but the work that we will be doing will be incredibly important, empowering, and rewarding. We hope to have you on board!
