A Philadelphia Celebration of Rosh Hodesh: It’s a Girl Thing!

Thank you!

MT_15 0055On November 10th 2015 Moving Traditions celebrated the past present and future of Rosh Hodesh: It’s a Girl Thing! and honored the foremothers who created and fostered the program. Rosh Hodesh has now touched the lives of over 14,000 girls, and we were so lucky to have some past and present participants with us to talk about their experiences, and tell us about how Rosh Hodesh has impacted their lives. We’re so grateful to everyone who came, and a special thank you to those who spoke last night: Sally Gottesman, Rabbi Deborah Waxman, Naomi Adler, Mindy Shapiro, Deborah Meyer, Tami Astorino, Elana Baurer, Barbra Berley-Mellits, Isabelle Beyda, Hadrielle Galfand, Sydney Schur, Rabbi Tamara Cohen, and Sarah Fox.
